I did not own a white blouse, and am lacking Spring pieces, so I decided to pattern and make myself this blouse. I saw this butterfly lace at Hancock Fabrics and had to have it. I loved how it was different from the usual floral pattern. The rest of the blouse if made of Kona Cotton. I used a grey ombre thread for some interesting top stitching detail. It mostly turned out great, but the collar turned out much larger than I had thought it would be. I used my serger to do a decorative rolled hem on the petal sleeves. I think it has a casual/classic Lolita look.
