The Burda WOF pattern, 6/2008, #103. I used scrap fabrics here. I had white cotton stripes, that were very long but very narrow, hence I altered the original pattern by cutting vertically the legs blocks in two pieces (both the front and the back ones). The white-black fabric was used for trim details. The welt pockets turned out too wide, but still I think they’re an interesting detail. I didn’t make the pockets deep enough since I just wanted to have a pocket trim detail, not an actual pocket. For the pocket lining I used scrap linen fabric I had. All in all, these bermudas were very cheap, I can say that the buttons costed much more than the fabric :). I rode the bike in those bermudas before the pics were taken, so they’re rather crumpled. Besides that, the cotton I used is soooo difficult to iron :-[.

You did a great job on your shorts. The contrasting fabric really makes them pop.
