Oh yes, my black skirt!
But again?
Well, yes. No one will notice because it´s black
But it has side welt pockets and that makes it different
Hardly noticeable
But it has a quite original and flattering back pleat
Not listening… I´m wearing it again

Yours looks great. I just finished mine (have not hemmed it) and had some major problems with instructions and the pattern itself. I think that it should probably not be labelled novice. The pocket instructions were impossible to follow, I looked up how to do a single welt pocket on youtube to figure it out and the waist band (I triple checked this, I cut it correctly) was too small for the skirt (No I didn’t try to put it on upside-down!) . I also found the pattern once made up was larger than size. I was very careful with seam allowances etc, so I don’t know what happened. So disheartening when such a cute pattern just doesn’t work out. Off to find something really really simple to get some confidence back. :-)
