Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Well, not really a “beachy” dress, although that’s what this was made for – our day at the beach. The pattern is Vogue 1152, a design by Rebecca Taylor. DD1 requested this as part of her summer collection, and after cutting it out 6 weeks ago, she requested it be made up for a beach play day. Lots of gathers, piping and pleating in this pattern make for an interesting and fun dress. You can see more and read more at my blog
Material Notes
cotton chambray, remnants for the contrast, invisible zipper, elastic, piping cord, interfacing (I used silk organza) and thread
