A project still in the works. A western styled jacket made from a thrift shop blanket (which was badly damaged). The jacket is made in scrapped together parts, and had no pattern to start with. I based the body shape on a short waisted Civil War era shell jacket, with a wide waist band. Needs the lining fixed, cuffs put on and snaps finished.

thanks. It is still in the work stage. I started with no pattern and created it as I went along. The blanket was a 25 cent find at a Salvation Army store. It had a lager stain on one side and mouse chews on the edges. I cut it up and pieced it back together to hide holes and stains. I liked the stripes on the blanket, though pink is not a “manly” color, I do not consider my design “girly”.
