Adorable cat doorstops, each with their own unique character and charm. Made from screenprinted cotton, yeti fur and pinstriped tweed (so far), their tails curl around themselves. The moggies facial features are a combination of appliqued felt and embriodery and their bases are also made of felt for duability. They have large ribbon handles to finish.

They remind me of the cartoon ‘Rhubarb and Custard’. Cute way to keep your door open!

I love these, they are so cute! What do you use to fill them/give weight?

I sew a simple cotton square and fill it with rice and put that inside the cats at the bottom… I suppose you could use anything like lentils or I’ve used play sand in the past but put that in a zip seal plastic bag.

If I had doors….. Maybe miniturise them, then they could be used for fabric weights.. Hmm….. How many more uses could we come up with?

Well I haven’t posted it yet but I just made an adaptation for a little girl in dusty pink.

My 10 year old has requested a whole set ‘That you can use on those tricky fabric, Mum.’ Don’t know about making 20 of them, but it would make moving them around easier.

Lol I’m glad I captured some sense of a cats adventurous nature. I live with two beautifully unique felines and the antics they get up to are more than inspiration.
