Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My mom and I spent a whole weekend sewing together. We made t-shirt totes, gathered scarves, a couple simple dresses for an African charity organization for needy girls, chair cushions, and a throw pillow for my living room! Fun!!

I know you two had a blast!!! My oldest daughter has just this past weekend got the “bug” to learn to sew. We also spent the weekend at the machines. We ended up making 36 large drawstring bags for her school to be their emergency supplies in. We also made curtain panels for the school office to hide the stuff in the cubbies. Our next big project is to make the drapes for the gymnasium stage. That is going to be a huge undertaking but with my daughter beside me it will be loads of fun! Family is the BEST!!!! Happy Sewing! (to the both of you!)
