Press the seam allowance under on the bottom edge of the yoke – both fabric and facing, both towards the wrong side. you’re going to sandwich the rest of the top between the two layers.
Gather or pleat the centre of the front bodice, leaving about 10cm not gathered/ pleated at each side. Baste the gathers/ pleats to secure. Do the same at the bottom edge of the front (this will have a wider section which is not pleated or gathered, due to the width of the armhole).
Turn a small double hem at both armhole edges and top stitch.
