I made a holiday top for my little niece with a scrap of red sparkly fabric from Fine Fabrics, a scrap of soft white cotton from Britex, two white buttons, and McCall’s M5416. I cut the pieces as long as I could, but the scraps were several inches shorter than the pattern’s shortest hem length. To make up for it a bit, I used my narrow hem foot for the hem on the red. The result was a cute little top.
