This dress was made a little over a year ago as my final project for Pattern Drafting 1. We had to be inspired by a 60s show, so I chose to reseach The Addams Family, and was inspired by Wednesday Addams. Being a college student with a budget, there was chili colored crinkled taffeta on a steep sale at Joann, so I decided that was what I was going to use. For the collar, I used some leftover shantung from my DKNY Vogue Dress that I had made for myself.
