I altered my white wedding dress for another fen faire. I cut the center seam, added a 6" pannel, made a new bodice and an additional over skirt, and a small hat w/ veil (in pic), as well as removable over sleeves which I didn’t get finished in time for these pictures.
heavy white crushed velvet streatchy material (still don’t know what it’s really called) for dress and off-white suting for sleeves. white chiffon scrap for veil, green and purple geometric patterned material for bodice, over sleeves, hat, and over skirt, grommets and ribbon for lacing, and heavy wire to give the hat structure
for purchasing the patterns and sewing machine for me for christmas :)
for the wire I used for the hat
