I made this dress last week for a wedding I went to in Sonoma last weekend. I used Vogue pattern 8184, the strapless version. I added a ribbon strap with a ruffle to give it some spice. I used ribbon on the waist area, but next time I would use a stretch ribbon because the fabric was stretch sateen so that I would be comfortable, but the ribbon made it tight. I was still able to dance and have fun.
