I just posted the picture of my wedding dress
http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/my-broken-glass-wedding-dress
but here is my husband shirt!
Made with 2m coton popelin, it us a home made pattern from an old shirt…
The collar and cuffs (? not sure of the word) are lined with fine fusible lining and also with silk organza for a good fit. My husband told me it was very confortable to wear. He asked me to used this combination (fusible lining + organza) for the next shirt ;)
A little secret is hidden in this shirt… A small gold heart pendant is sewn between the 2 layers of fabric that create the yoke (on the back).
I’m happy he liked this shirt enough to wear it again later! It is a lovely shirt, but not too formal to stay in the wardrobe for ever…
