Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this dress for my sister last January for her rehearsal dinner dress. (She loves vintage and this is vintage inspired)
It is made with a beautiful ivory raw silk and overlaid with lace. I also flatlined the silk with a soft light weight polyester.
It truly feels vintage with all the layering and weight of the garment. The weight allowed the skirt to move very nicely!
It was about the 3 project I ever used lace. I was a little nervous cutting all the expensive fabric, but well worth it when I was done! My sister looked absolutely stunning!
I decided to post on etsy custom orders, so maybe I will get to build another one soon (and maybe long too)!
