I made this dress for a weeding I was invited to in Singapore. I needed something elegant for the ceremony at the French embassy.
I choose this project two weeks before taking off Paris. Good idea, considering the pattern… and the instructions !
Another difficulty came from my fabric, unadapted. The sewer is recommended to use “White crepe satin with widthwise stretch”. No stretch at all in mine, so I added an unpressed pleat in the back.
The main fabric is a beautiful and coloured silk.
The dress is lined with silk, more comfortable for a summer dress.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
