After 10 years together we decided that it was time to get married so we did. I have always said that when I would marry I would have a green dress which I had made myself and that is excactly what I got. :D
I had the patern made for me based on a dress in the shop with some minor changes as this dress used to be a halter dress and I wanted a strapless one. Overall I am verry happy with how the dress turned out. Ofcourse I had my monents when sewing that I was wondering if it would ever work and turn out OK.
Poly blend(?) woven green fabric. The fabric is woven with red, black and green threads which give it a beautifull shine.

simply stunning. i love brides in different colors. white may be the standard, but colors usually compliment the skin and hair better (which your color is gorgeous on you!). wonderful work!
may you have many more decades together!

Congratulations! :) Your dress is so beautiful! I love non-white wedding dresses too – I’m planning to have mine in different different red shades. Your bridal bouqet is great as well! What kind of flowers were used – orchids or lilies?
