It was a day before my cousins wedding reception (she got married in Africa with only a tribe of witch doctors as witness, no joke!) Anyhooo i had nothing to wear, as per usual and so when in doubt i make it up. I started with some random pieces of flowery fabric and just made it up as i went along. I took my measurements for bust, waist, strap and torso length and made my structured bodice out of a thick velvet. Then with some random pink flowery material and true Westwood essence, i just draped for my life (i love drapey corset dress). Alas i cocked up and only had a long green zip and it wouldn’t reach far enough by like a mm, so what did i do but pull apart a hair slide with a bow on it, and that was the moment i created the BUTT BOW (how do you like me now Marie Antoinette ;)
Sturdy stuff to make a structured bodice.
Lots (and i mean lots) of fabric to make the skirt, it also made extra booby coverage.
A strip of fabric to make straps and waistband.
Butt bow of your own
The right coloured zip……would help
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
