My sister in law got married this fall. She wanted a wedding dress for $20. Instead, I offered to make her one as my gift to her. It ended up costing about $40, including necessary undergarments. We used a “Very Easy Vogue” halter dress as the base pattern, and modified the bodice to be more modest. That modification was way above my skill level. The rest of the dress was reasonably easy though, and the dress turned out well. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up getting great pics.
The fabric was called "peach skin". The sash is out of a silvery jersey knit.

So kind of you! I am glad her wedding turned out so personal.

She looks lovely! I absolutely love the barefeet, casual ceremony that it appears to be. That would be so much fun!
