Description

I made my daughter’s dress and my son’s suit for my wedding.
My daughter also has butterfly wings with ribbon and bells.

Material Notes

A lot and I can’t remember what all I used.

Thank you. LOL…she wanted to be my fairy godmother, so that’s when I added the wings. They where easy to make. I used floral wire bent into shape, then wrapped in ribbon and covered with shear panty hose, I made all of the wing parts and then attached them together by sandwiching them in between 2 pieces of felt. After that I painted on them with just your average acrylic paints and I let them dry. After they where dry then I used black elastic for her arms and then to finish it all off I added black ribbon and attached small bells to the bottom of the ribbon. They turned out lovely and I had a happy little girl. She still wears them.

Her brother’s suit was a bit more involved then her dress and wings.

I’m glad you liked them and hope you make some wings of your own.

It’s sooooo pretty! And your daughter looks like a princess or a fairy.
