So for a Performance Design and Production unit at Central Saint Martins we had to design a costume that could a functional piece of furniture, and i was inspired by the hanging chandelier lights in my hallway. Thus using an awful lots of sequins and CD’s i created my Light Costume. The bodice was constructed out of an awful shapeless dress i owned and i used corset boning for the skirt, i hand stitched the whole thing only because i CBA to get the machine out, note to self save time and get the sewing machine out! I even made my own (painful) light reflector shoes!!
