Description

I love pleated skirts, they are so versatile and they never go out of style. This skirt is knee-lenght and made out of dark blue, cotton voile. I borrowed the yoke from another self drafted skirt I made and divided 1 inch wide continuous pleats around it to make the skirt. Since the fabric is so light it’s almost see through, I lined it with white cotton voile that I also trimmed with cotton lace to make it extra extra special. I installed an invisible zip and hook and eye closure and finished the skirt yoke facing and hem by hand with slip stitches.
