This is the first quilt I’ve made, and it will probably be my last (famous last words?). I started it many years ago – bought the fabric and cut the pieces. Then it sat on the shelf for a while. Then I sewed the top together. Then it sat around again. Then I moved. Then it sat on the shelf some more. This winter I finally gave it to a friend whose Mom has a quilting machine – she chose a great quilting pattern (called “Apricot Moon”) and sent it back to me. It sat around for another few months. I finally did the binding last week! Done. It was originally intended to be a sort of cover for the futon, but since I took so long making it I went out and bought a futon cover in the interim…
