My boyfriend likes attending medieval festivals and asked me to make him a costume. We picked out Simplicity 1552A view B for the coat and tunic. We quickly found some nice discounted fabrics in local shops. The fabrics look quite medieval to me but I think they’re not made from a natural fiber. Ah whatever, nobody sees. We couldn’t find a nice faux fur trim for the coat though. Maybe my boyfriend will adapt to the medieval spirits and hunt some deer. Not that we have a lot of wild life in the Netherlands hehe. We’re very happy with the results! Now it’s time for some sewing time for myself.
