Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is one of the looks I used in my student collection, “A Modern Medieval Fairytale.” My inspiration for the collection was posed by the question, “What would medieval fairies wear today?” The theme for the show this year was “Time” and designers were asked to re-interpret time periods.
This is a one sleeve brocade dress that features studs and chains – What else could you ask for?
Also the dress has a pleated shoulder and breastplate feature inspired by Medieval armor. The additional photo was a detail photo taken during the show for me.
