Yes, cold weather is slowly coming to here as well. And because Melody grew up from almost all of her coats I decided to make her something new. And of course a Hello Kitty beret to match with it ;)

:-) Now I need to decide which one of the coats I like better – yours or your Melody’s! :-) It’s awesome and the beret is cute too!

I can imagine! I just wish I could sew back when I was living in my home-country, so that my Mom and I, or even my little sister and I could have shared something special like that.

From where you are originally? We share the same name and I am actually not in a “home country” as well :)

I am ethnically Russian, but I was born and lived for 23 years of my life in Almaty, Kazakhstan (which is, as I like to say jokingly, a former capital of the former republic of the former Soviet Union ;-)). I married an American and moved to US in the end of 2003, but my parents and (now) teen sister are back there.
By the way, I have a friend in Brussels, who came there also from my home town. :-)
And where is your “home country”? (I was surprised to hear we share the same name!)
