Another creation in a series… Again, re-purposed from a pair of grey wool trousers, this wristlet is the sister to the matching scarf.
I fashioned from the bottom quarter of the same trouser leg (previously used to create a coordinating scarf). It is lined with a soft brushed cotton in a botanical Autumnal colour palette. Inverted pleats were added to the centre to create some visual interest. There is an interior pocket to house a cell phone, lip gloss or keys. I added some felt floral embellishments, using one of the a button as the flowers centre.
Grey wool flannel, brushed cotton, felt, buttons, thread, zipper

gorgeous – I really like this & am dratting throwing away a pair of wool pants last year.
My flat is so tiny & crowded I had to get ruthless (I had held onto them for several years though they had gone in the crotch the rest of the fabric was just lovely). Now I have a machine again after 20 years, I will never throw anything away – I’ll just have to rework any pieces asap!

This is fabulous! I have a pair of wool pants in the goodwill bag I was planning on giving away… Think I’ll be fishing them back out instead!
