The lace in this top is from curtains I found at the thrift store. Meters and meters of fabric for pennies – it’s probably the only lace I’ll ever have to buy! I made the pattern myself, with a sweetheart neckline and slit in the back. French seams for the lace portion. I’m not sure what the knit fabric is made of (it certainly isn’t wool), but it’s not scratchy.
