For variation, you can apply lace, ribbons, buttons, flowers or chose nice looking fabrics for both sides and make it reversible.

Wonderful tutorial, and so well documented with plenty of pictures. I like very much the idea of toptstitching the lining, I didn’t know that would result in the fabric not showing up on the outside. I hope to make one of these soon. Thank you!
