Description

So about a year ago I decided that, while I love ridiculous and quirky fabrics, I should make some more versatile (read: normal) clothes. It was meant to be a series I’d add to every so often. I’m not very good at it, because this is only the third ‘basic’ I’ve made.
Anyway, as the name suggests, this is a fairly straightforward and feminine t-shirt. I used Simplicity 2261 (view B or C with no embellishments) as the pattern. The fabric is just a soft cotton jersey from Tessuti in Apricot, with floral vine stripes, which I think works as a nice neutral without being plain.

Material Notes

70cm cotton jersey

I hear you! Sewing is ALL about the fabric isn’t it? I still can’t bring myself to sew with solids! your T fits you very well.
