Description

I was inspired to make this from all of the varsity jackets that are trickling into fashion. I didn’t use a pattern; I just traced my old sweatshirt and started from there. It wasn’t really that hard, the collar was pretty tricky, but all in all it was pretty fun. I used snaps for the closure and a light knit for the jacket itself. I wouldn’t wear it for cold weather, since I made it pretty light. (As you can see, I didn’t add a lining, so it looks really messy on the inside.)

Haha, just like me. Before I made this, I was desperate; searching up the internet for a pattern, but I realized, it’s just like a regular hoodie. Really, just give it a try. The collar & snaps were a pain though. Even if I did send you a pattern, you wouldn’t know what you were doing, as I made a ton of adjustments to it.

Haha, glad you like it! But sorry, I don’t know how to upload/make patterns and digitalize it. It’s really easy to make it though. Do you have an old sweatshirt? You just need to copy the sleeves onto big paper (like wrapping paper), the body, and the cuffs and bottom. Here’s a link that will help you. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177602.0

Haha, from the outside it does, but from the inside out, it looks terrible. Loose threads, uneven stitching… etc.
      But thanks anyways!
