Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My heart skipped a beat when I first saw this vintage fabric in my craftschool’s closet. I desperately wanted to make a dress of it, but the fabric piece was very small and to add insult to injury some children had cut pieces out from the middle of the fabric. It took me three hours onlyt to set the pattern pieces on the fabric and I’m so happy I didn’t give up! I feel great in the dress and a sligt military influece helps to give little courage to silly wallflower girls like me:)

Great job with this dress. The print is so perfect. Definitely worth the three hours just to figure out how to lay the pattern pieces on the fabric.

Thank you! unfortunately I didn’t use any spesific pattern, I partly drafted the upper-part’s pattern based on one shirt pattern I already had, and the skirt is just a rectangle.
