I promised myself to empty out my fabric stash buying new fabric, but when I saw this one at Ikea, I just had grab at least one meter. I had a bad conscience and turned it quickly into this skirt, using almost the whole meter. Yay!
I wanted a big black waistband as a contrast. The facing is made out of an old bedsheet my mom used to sleep in when she was a little girl and visiting our relatives in Northern Germany.
The skirt has 4 pleats in the front and back and an exposed zipper. And a deep pocket. I love pockets.
