This pattern was a love at the first sight! I didn’t make it at once because I suffer from empire-waist overdose. But this pattern is not the usual empire waist silhouete, it is more interesting and refined…finally I didn’ t manage to avoid the temptation and made it. I used an adorable lycra with deep chocolate color and faux leather for the bands. I love the pattern even more now that I used it, it has adorable features. Burda suggests elastic or stable fabrics, but if you are interested in making this dress in a stable fabric be careful about the size: mine was very fitted at the bust, though I traced my usual 36. If the fabric wasn’t stretch I wouldn’t be able to wear it!
