A skirt from a summer edition of the Dutch ‘Knipmode’ magazine.
I wanted to make a skirt for the fall, so i used corduroy fabric. I like the fact that it is a bit flared and it has pockets. The length is just right. I used some accent colors on the inside, for the hem and for the facing of the waistband. I had to add two darts both in the back and front to make the waistband fit perfectly. Oh well, I’ve skipped making a muslin once again, but that’s not a huge problem for a skirt.

Me too. I think the dropped waist idea is always flattering.

Thanks! I actually added two darts both in the front and in the back to make it fit perfectly.
