Description

I’m headed to the renaissance festival with a few of my good friends and we all wanted to dress up for the event. I put together these simple waist cinchers to wear over our blouses and full skirts :) Mine is made out of forest green and mulberry microsuede and fully reversible. My friend’s is made from cotton batik and cotton canvas. I found two-piece grommets at ACE hardware of all places that are very nice quality and the perfect size.

Material Notes

microsuede, pellon sew-in interfacing, boning, grommets, parachute cord

Thank you :) It’s all super simple. The top is from Simplicity pattern #3618 and it’s paired with a broomstick skirt and the waist cincher that I patterned myself.
