Description

My son asked for a typical character of the Basel Carnival, a “Waggis” (a french man – due to this theme the colours are blue, white and red). The costume is really easy to make, I used an old pattern I found in an issue of the Burda magazine, the blouse is pattern no. 136a from the Burda magazine 05/2011. The wig was a little bit more of a project, I just had the outcome in my mind and started with a cap we had at home and 260m of bast. He loves his costume and can’t wait til carnival starts next month….
