To celebrate the exit of the first man-made object from our solar system, me and a fellow blogger (the lovely lazylinchen ) decided to make something space themed. I went with the combination of the rather girly Reglisse (Deer and Doe pattern) and this much less girly astronaut cotton poplin to create my Voyage into Space dress, and lazylinchen made this fantastic cowl-necked top from awesome nebula fabric (check it out here! )! I had a few reservations about the pattern when I started making the dress, but I think I have come to terms with them now I’ve finished and worn this dress in public.
