In Germany a pig is a traditional New Years Eve hostess gift, it’s a symbol of luck and wellbeing. Normally people give each other little toy pigs or figures made of marzipan. So I’ve made one for our dear friends who invited us to celebrate together. But then I found it so cute that I kept it for myself and use it as a pincushion.
My husband called it the Voodoo Pig.
