This has got to be Vogue’s most versatile dress pattern. I’ve made this dress 6 times already (not even joking) and I’ve made it with linen, Ramie linen, Silk Satin, Cottons of all sorts (excluding sheers or semi-sheers, of course.) Vogue 8555 is one of my favorite patterns because you can pretty much style it to look casual, dressy, preppy, etc. It’s also perfect for hour-glass shaped people since I have big hips and big bust with a tiny waist, it allows extra room for a bigger cup size without needing to make adjustments and fiddle around with cutting up the pattern. This Dress is made from a silk jacquard I bought from china. It literally feels like butter.
