Wonderful image: the fabric and the pattern were created for each other and you just brought them to life:)

Gorgeous!! Well done!!! I have this pattern and I sewn 2 dresses but sleeveless. I just read your blog and I will follow your tips for the third one (with sleeves).

Thank you! I love the dress you are wearing in your picture! I have that pattern as well, but have not made the dress yet! It is adorable! :-)

This dress turned out lovely. I have the same pattern at home but have always shied away from it because I find vogue patterns don’t ever fit very well and so much adjusting has to be done before they look flattering. You made it work and it’s fabulous!

Thank you :-) You are not the only person that thinks the Vogue patterns are a pain in the tushie! I totally agree with you on that one. I always have to check the fit. With me it is the arm area that needs adjusting.

Great chique dress! Good that you made it longer! I have the pattern already for a while. The more examples I see, the more it tickles to get started. I actually already have a fabric, but I think it’s not stiff enough, so I’m not 100% sure about my fabric choice. Great that somebody warns me about the directions. First time I will use a Vogue pattern!

Thank you :-) I hope you have a good experience making your dress. The next fabric I am making this dress in is actually a linen. It is going to be interesting to see how it turns out. The linen I have is a medium weight.
Let me know how your dress turns out!
      have fun with it.

Gorgeous dress, i have a huge problem with vogue patterns in that i find the instructions written in gobbley gook lol . I can never make out what goes where so most if my vogue creations go in my “what was i thinking basket” lol. I love the fabric you used and you did a fabulous job. I’m sorely tempted to get this pattern but i know what’ll happen lol x

      Thank you Mary :-)
I talk about this dress on my blog and give suggestions for the directions. It was a total pain in the arse trying to follow which view was what. I think the person who wrote them was trying to make people go insane! LOL
