This coat is a labour of love. The wool fabric was a splurge – the coat ended up costing me $120AU and hours of preparation but well worth the effort. I have lined it with red polyester and the buttons are from my Grandmother’s stash. It fits like a glove and has a regal feel about it. No adjustments to the pattern. It has lots of pieces and lining them all up requires patience but the end product is well worth the dedication.
I love it!
