This is a very easy pattern for a coat from Vogue. It has only 4 pattern pieces ( front, back, sleeve & pocket ). The pattern is for an unlined coat but I added lining. What I liked most about it is how easy it was to sew and construct. Is perfect for a beginner. The only tricky part was the lining and trying to figure out where to add extra cuts so I can have the lining in 3 different fabrics. I eliminated the back seam ( it was almost a strait line anyway so I didn’t seen the point of having it ). I cut the cuffs from the pattern and made them in different color and fabric. The buttons are dressed in black fleece and are not functional ( it closes with inside hand sewn snaps ) . I overlapped the front the wrong way but I don’t care so much about that so I left it like that.

No idea what exactly the yellow fabric is, the back one is flannel fleece and the polka dots lining is sateen.
