This pattern is now out of print, but I think you can still purchase it online. The pattern includes both the slip dress and the lace overlay.

I skipped all the steps where it wanted you to hang the dress in the shower. I also didn't add snaps to the slip dress

Lovely! I’ve made this dress too, but bravo on putting a zipper in, I just sewed up the whole back because it was stretchy enough to fit over my head! And I didn’t hang it in the shower either! Good job, It looks great!

This dress looks AWESOME!! How did you sew the zipper into the lace without tearing it? Were you worried?

I was super nervous about sewing in the zipper, I actually hand sewed in an invisible zipper in first but it rolled a whole bunch so I had to take it out and this is just a regular zipper. My teacher suggested putting a light weight zipper in, but they dont carry those at joanns so I couldnt get one

I’ve been sewing for years and I had never seen a pattern tell me to hang things in the shower. lol apparently because the slip dress is cut on the bias the steam helps it take its full shape or something like that. I’m a little iffy on the details, my teacher explained it to me, but she said it wasn’t too big of a deal if I skipped it
