Description
Coctail dress made with Calvin Klein Vogue American Designers 2051, one of a lot of patterns I got on E-bay a few months ago. Copyright 1988. I think I’m really beginning to like the 80’s again (though not all of it).
I only made a few changes, I shortened it a bit (ehum, happens every time I sew a skirt or dress) and removed some width around the back and skirt to make it fit me better.
There’s a boned foundation with a waist stay that makes it stay in place and very comfortable to wear.

Material Notes
Polyester (?), cotton (for the foundation), zipper, grosgrain ribbon for waist stay and boning-casing, polyester boning.

Oh I really do love it! And I’m getting into the 80’s again too! There are some really good styles that I hadn’t realized when I was younger because I was so overpowered by the bad ones. Lovely job! Superb color!
