Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I saw this cotton shirting and I knew what I had to do with it straight away ! With hindsight I should have bought more fabric and made a corset dress! The blouse hase been shaped by cutting the pieces as if they were a corset. There is a small madarin collar, oversized turn back cuffs and a natty little pocket on the sleeve to put your lippy or a tissue. The front and sleeves are secured by thick black ribbon. The skirt was taken from Burda 7721.
Material Notes
Cotton shirting for the blouse and the co-ordinating skirt is a made from lightweight black wool crepe.
