Bedford, United ...
for my textiles As level second project we had to make and design a dress based around a designer of our choice. i chose Westwood as she is such an inspiration to me. we was given a basic dress pattern which we dad to adapt to create our dress.
i have ruched the bodice at the front. added stitching detail and added pickups in the skirt.
finally to “celebrate” our hard work the department put on a fashion show, it was our schools first. and i got some really good feedback from it. my main difficulty was convincing my best friend to model the dress for me. I owe her big for it, thow you have to admit she looked amazing in the dress, even if i do say so my self. ;)
hope you like it.
