This was a fairly easy make, the skirt especially. I wasn’t planning on making both, figuring I’d lack the nerve to wear them together anyway but I do love the mad Toad from Toad hall feel of the complete suit.
I omitted the buttons from the jacket. I couldn’t bear to make holes in the finished piece.

wool outer with silk habotai lining for coat.
The lining on skirt is polyester satin
