Here is a How to for a shirt with some pretty details that make it an eyecatcher without being too difficult. It is smocked in the front and on the sleeves.
You need a pattern for a short sleeve shirt. You can take it from an old shirt or use for example the Lydia-pattern.
I hope you can follow my instructions!
ca. 1m light jersey (1,40m widths)
ca. 50cm elastic band
ca. 1m elastic cord (?)
ca. 1m bias binding
