Another woollen high waisted pencil skirt, Burda fashion magazine 1/2009, model 112.
Some time ago I used this pattern for black pencil skirt, that’s published here as well.
I found a huge woollen plaid skirt in mother’s closet, that was never worn. I simply fell in love with this fabric, unpicked and decided to make a warm winter skirt for myself.
All seams of the yoke are finished with piping, the hem is sewn by hand. As the check pattern is asymmetric, it was quite complicated to match them to be happy with the result (especially in the small side details of the yoke).
Shell – wool, rayon with elastane for lining.
