Violet and Fushia Blouse

Added Mar 15, 2012

Sydney, Australia

Easy to make and easy to wear.

Made with a cotton sateen from Spotlight that has been maturing in my stash for well over a year. I used self covered buttons that I picked up from the Op Shop for 20c or so. The pleat at the neckline is currently a little over-pressed , but I think it will relax after a wash

I used Burda 09/2011 #128, but am having trouble getting the site to recognise the pattern below.

More info on my blog.

Material Notes

cotton, interfacing, thread, self covered buttons

Oh I bought this pattern! I really want to make it. You’ve inspired me, I will do it this summer!

Your top is so lovely and the fabric/colour is perfect for you. I cut this same pattern out last night and had hoped to have it made today but other stuff happened. Maybe tomorrow. But seeing yours and others in the same pattern has convinced me that this pattern is a great choice. Well done.
